Albin becomes the third member of the current KAESER Australia team to reach this impressive achievement, joining Craig Firth and Mark Dudman, who have each clocked up 31 years of service.
A Career Built on Compressed Air Know-How
Since joining KAESER Australia in 1995, Albin has been instrumental in helping businesses across the country optimise their compressed air systems. His second-to-none experience and technical understanding has seen him become a trusted advisor to both customers and colleagues.
Ask Albin what keeps the job interesting after three decades, and he has a simple answer: "No boredom." From the constant evolution of technology to the variety of industries he supports, there’s always something new to tackle and keep him engaged.
He also recalls his first international engineering meeting as a standout moment. "Everyone was supporting each other in a language not their native language. It showed the willingness to work together... sometimes using pen and paper or hand gestures to get the message across."
Over the years, Albin has naturally contributed to the mentorship of his younger colleagues. When asked about his own mentor, he jokes: "the person in the mirror." But today, he plays a key role in guiding new engineers, sharing his deep technical expertise and first hand experience.
Over the past three decades, Albin has seen the compressed air industry evolve dramatically. Shifts in technology and growing demands for sustainability and efficiency, has taught him to adapt and lead by example. His work continues to support KAESER’s mission to provide high-performance, energy-efficient systems tailored to the needs of Australian industry.
